I have always believed in reciprocation. Treat citizens of ANY country the same way they treat ours in their country.

During World War II he also got in a shoot with a B 17 that strayed off the practice range 50 miles to the south and shot up one of his ridges. The route cause of it is that our economy is all screwed up. Sure it will cost more for a head of lettuce if it is picked by someone making a legal wage. But then again industry will have to tighten their belts to make a living and that is not what the campaign contributions pay for.
Everyone deserves a fair wage and fair working conditions. We have made second class citizens allowing companies hire illegals to do their dirty work.
The end result will be two classes of people the rich and the poor. Big business has been trying to eliminate the middle class for a century.
We should give all illegals a SS# and require minimum wage to be paid. Then tax the crap out of any third world country that pays low wages and wants to ship into our shores to pay for the growing burden on our economy.

 

I agree with the current situation being fucked but tariffs will cause many repercussions. Also paying them minimum wage further hurts unskilled laborers because less will be hired. They need to be phased out just like they were phased in.

 

I agree with most of what you are saying here. And like I've said earlier what we are actually justifing is greed, pure and simple. We are not interested in solving the world's problems there is way too much money to be made off them,

Best way to stop illegal immigration is to react swiftly and harshly to companies that illegally hire illegal immigrants.

If there are no jobs for illegal immigrants, there is no reason for them to come here.

I don't see why this policy hasn't been implemented yet.

 

If you read the article I posted the other day, that policy is being implemented and it's been attacked by immigrant rights folks and business owners.

Even if that list was true, it says foreigners. That sounds like they're talkin about non-citizens.

 

If it's restrained, then yes I do. By that, I mean not running off killing purse snatchers n'such. With cases such as the border, with the government either unwilling or unable to do it's job, this is all the only option the people there feel they have left.

While I was living in Arizona, there was the story of an elderly woman, living very close to the border, outside of Tuscon, who was forced to to turn her home into a virtual compound. 15 foot fences surrounded her property, topped with barbed wire and there were guard dogs, who in the past had been killed by being fed food with glass in it through the fence, or with poisons. This woman, who was in her 80's, having lived there for decades with her husband until he died, was a prisoner in her own home. Her house had been broken in to numerous times, she'd been robbed and her property vandalized, all by illegals who were using her home as a stop-over. She got no help from her local or federal government, so what would you suggest? If neighbors were willing to camp out at her place with their rifles and detain anyone caught trespassing until authorities could arrive, is that such a bad thing? Are you going to tell the woman that she must live in fear until the day she dies?

If the only help she or others can get is from a local militia, even if it's made up of retired dentists and teachers, then I say they have every right to it. That the people feel the need for this sort of action is a glaring neon sign of how bad our government is neglecting this.

But, what say you about the article? You said there had to be more to it, and, as you can see, there really wasn't. The ranch owner allegedly beat them, then gave them food, drinks and blankets and let them go. Mmhmm. Do you support giving privately owned U.S. land to illegal immigrants who broke a number of laws in getting to the property in the first place?

The ACLU, organizations that cater to illegal immigrants, and democratic liberals in general)(not all) actually continually:

1.harassing anyone who tries to interfere with illegal immigration
2.does things to harm this country
3.does not like citizens acting to defend the borders
4.Thinks the government should provide all citizenship constitutional rights to everyone in the world, even if they entered this country illegal or engaged in terrorist or piratical acts taking up arms against this country.
5.Thinks all illegal aliens should be given all welfare benefits not available to us citizens who need it, ie. paying all the utility bills of vietnamese refugees (they werent illegal) as California did.
6. Those benefits: free medical care, free schools, free foodstamps, free schooling, underthetable income not taxable.

7. set immigration quotas ridiculously low for the countries that share our values, meaning Europeans, and large for people who do not: Mexico, Middle East, and others.
There are 300 immigration permits per year from Europe and they are auctioned off by the US or European govt, not sure which. And we have what, half a million Mexicans per year illegally enter this country?

This all confirms what I have noticed since about 1960, the people in power in this country and including the congress are doing everything they can to destroy it. They are doing a good job.

We should treat the citizens of any other country that are here the same exact way they treat our citizens in their country. We should adopt the Mexican Immigration Laws and ENFORCE them mercilessly.

A Berlin wall type fence complete with a minefield and watchtowers manned by sharpshooters is the only permanent solution.

Otherwise the immigrants are going to be in charge of every state in the Southwest in 20 years and secede from the Union to join Mexico, and the US will be to gutless to do anything about it. Do you think that the non-Mexicans in the Southwest will get Mexican citizenship? Think again.
