First a little bit about me.....I am an 18 year old male getting ready to start college. I am a virgin, in fact I have never even made out with a girl. I don't think that I am that unattractive, yes, I have a few extra pounds but all in all I'm not that bad looking.....

**The problem....I tend to masturbate at least once a week, which I am ok with. I go through the whole ordeal and ejaculate. But about a minute or so after ejaculating I start to feel regret. I ask myself "why did I just do that?" It's not that I don't like masturbating, it can be very pleasurable, but it's like I know I shouldn't do it, or at least do it as much.

I was wondering if any guys felt the same thing? I was also wondering, since I am going to living with a room mate, if anyone had any tips as to how to limit how often you masturbate?

I know that a girlfriend is the ultimate solution to this, but in the mean time it would be much appreciated.....

once a week is a lot? doll, i know guys who do it several times a day, you don't actually do it a lot, actually your sex life with your hand is equivalent to some married couples

I do it a least once a week depending on how busy I am. During the school year I normally only do it on the weekends. sharing a room sucks... if you have different class schedules, that could work. i would certainly work out a strict "knock first" policy in any case.

charisma is what gets you the girls, and looks are only a small part of that. during my first year of university, i was extremely attracted to someone i felt was very sexy... now, he was okay in the looks department (had his moments, but something of a nerd -- not to mention i was his housemate, so i saw him at his worst, lol) but gods, he could turn me on with the right tone of voice.

Once a week sounds crazy to me! Not saying you're crazy, just saying I couldn't do once a week! I was recently on holiday and couldn't get a chance to have a wank for a few days, it was terrible, I find I am always attracted to loads of women where we go too which makes it worse and I can't get access to porn there either due to it being a family holiday. By the time I get back I get some porn on and have a massive wank. Usually I wank several times a day.

I used to feel that masturbation was a sin, and I tried to avoid it. I did succeed most of the time in limiting myself to no more than twice a day. Other than that, I've never regretted it, and used to masturbatee regularly before a date, If I got lucky I could still perform and if I didn't I wasn't as uncomfortable as I would have been with hard on all evening. Of course, if I didn't get luck I'd still have to masturbate after a date.
