That the beer in the fridge is still cold after no power for 2 1/2 hours. I really don’t know how people do this site on their phones

 

hahaha - I'm following my own post! The beer thing was like a consolation prize, but as I was sitting in the hot, humid dark (over 80 degrees) with no electricity, posting here from my phone (soooo fucking tedious!) My power came on! A neighbor had told me a that the DWP told him it would be TEN hours! I don't know what blew out - and it was only about a 10 to 15 block area in my neighborhood, but kudos to the LA DWP!

I like your question Sookie put it was a young lady early twenties I guess we don't talk about it as their eyes and even though I don't know her she always being a smile to my face. But today we became acquainted over a couple of shots of tequila. I was told I had perfect “nail beds” today. What a dumb thing to have perfect. I’d rather have perfect hair, or skin, or perfect eyesight. But I gots the nail beds.

 

My oldest who wanted to continue our monopoly game today even though he was way behind and couldn't possibly win anymore. And the maturity with which he handled losing. He's really growing up. I'm proud of him.

 

My husband and I were both in the kitchen making our lunches. I turned and looked at him. Without saying a word, he popped a small slice of cheddar cheese in my mouth. Then we both burst out laughing.

 

I went out to feed my crows and they were acting like they didn’t know me. It wasn’t until I started talking that they came close. Then I realized I had my hair up in a bun, and normally I wear it down. Which makes me think that they recognize my hair more than my face lol. I must experiment!

 

Mr. Robin has seen off all his parental responsibilities and is back visiting He's not interested in being fed, he just wants to say Hello may I come in? !

Going to the supermarket and not forgetting anything.

 

Woke up this morning to the squirrel that lives in our tree chattering.

Turns out a crow was getting into squirrels stash of peanuts.

After a bit squirrel tried to jump crow, but crow dodged and squirrel almost fell out of the tree.

Shooter took heart and put peanuts out so squirrel could dare crow to come get some.

Crow seemed happy with what he stole already.

 

Getting my travel confirmation for my upcoming scuba trip. I can't wait!

We went out for a late lunch today and the other half got up to use the ladies room. Well half way there the waitress stopper her and told her she needed to wear a mask if she was away from her table. Needless to say she was embarrassed and when she returned to the table to get her mask she looked at me and said, “not a word out of you”! I smiled brightly and replied, “me, never”. I was still smiling when she returned. You guessed it, she’s the one that constantly tells me to wash my hands, where is your mask. Life has its little moments.
